Terms and Conditions of Business
1 Services to be performed and charges
1.1 Subject to these terms and conditions, the Dogenes shall perform such services and carry out such works (“Services”) as are expressly agreed between the Dogenes and the Client ( the owner of an animal). Genetic tests once ordered are non-refundable.
1.2 Dogenes will charge the Client at the rates specified in the Order form provided unless otherwise agreed.
2 Payment
2.1 Payment is due before DNA sampling kits are mailed to the customer. The client will be responsible for maintaining records of test results. Re-issuance of Certificates of Analysis will be at a charge to the client of $5.00 (USD) international customers, or $5.50 CDN plus applicable GST/PST/HST for Canadian customers.
3. Liability
31 The Client will defend, indemnify and hold harmless Dogenes Inc. from and against any and all claims, demands, suits or liability arising from the negligence or intentional misconduct of the Client, or the breach by the Client of any of the warranties or other terms and conditions of this Agreement. This indemnity by the Client shall not apply where the cause, in whole or in part, on any such liability, loss or expense is the intentional misconduct or negligence of the Dogenes Inc. personel.

3.2 Dogenes will use its best efforts to carry out the services efficiently, with all reasonable care and to a professional standard However, Dogenes cannot be held responsible for any errors arising from inaccuracies contained in database information, that is utilized in providing the services.
4. Price List
4.1 A current Price List is available on request from the Dogenes Inc.
4.2 Dogenes reserves the right to change the price of testing at any time where additional expenses are incurred by the rising costs of supplies, and will notify the Client prior to such a price increase.
5. Exclusion of other terms
These terms and conditions shall prevail notwithstanding any printed or other terms and conditions contained in any order.
